If you shop at Forever 21 you must read this blog

...and you must have a good sense of humor!

Recently I started back up reading the blog WTForever21 and I am not lying when I tell you this shit is so funny!

Basically what happens is this ingenious blog writer checks out all the random shit Forever 21 puts out for sale. If you have ever stepped foot in a Forever 21, you know that half of the stuff is legit, and the rest of it looks like it's for baby hookers/psychopaths. Like, I can't believe I didn't think of this myself! I literally go in to Forever 21 and think to myself "who the fuck thought this was a good idea?". That's where my girl picks it up and makes a post out of it by adding a hilarious one-liner that I should have thought of myself.

Seriously, if you shop at Forever 21 (which I know is most of you ladies out there) please check out this blog. You boyfriends and guy friends/dads/brothers who got dragged along will probably find it entertaining as well!

R. Kelly, you are a genius

Trapped in the Closet -- chapters 1-22

Oh. my. God. If you don't know what "Trapped in the Closet" is, then you have missed a generational gem! I can't tell you the amount of times I have spent watching this saga unfold over and over again. Basically, "Trapped in the Closet" is R. Kelly's own soap opera. It's hilarious, exciting, and a little bit frightening. It's centered around the most ridiculous love story ---if you want to call it that--- and has the most twists you will ever see in a music video. I used to know all the words to the first part, but I kind of forgot a lot. If you haven't seen it, you need to. If you have seen it, you need to see it again. Watch it!

shit my mom tweets

Twitter. A couple of years ago, my mother wouldn't have stepped foot near it. Now she is obsessed with it! I can't go on the twitter home page anymore because there's usually four or five tweets (all from my mom), and two or three of these are yet another picture of my dogs. Oh, the hilarity doesn't end there. She then proceeds to paste comments for each picture, such as "Mitzi, Mandy and Molly are lazy right now", as if she really understands the dynamics of our dogs and feels they're necessary to share with the world. I swear, the dogs change position on the couch and she snaps a picture to commemorate the moment. And the best part is that when she snaps a pic, it's on her blackberry. Every freaking thing she ever does is captured on the blackberry, even when I have the nice Canon sitting right next to her. "Well the blackberry is easier and I can understand it" is really Jo-code for "I'm trying to put this on twitter".

The absolute worst part? My mom has ten times the amount of followers that I do! Everyone apparently wants to read about the 20 big plays of the Indians game, or the line by line presentation of something happening at the Statehouse. I don't understand it!

I guess the two best things about having my Mom on twitter is that at least one person responds to my tweets (my mom is usually the only person to @sarahingles) and I get more followers because people see she replied to me. People friend me because they know I am her daughter. Eh, I'll take it.

So, in honor of my technologically-savy mother, I have copied a few of my favorite tweets from her. Enjoy!

this is for my teacher friends

I have recently been obsessed with passiveagressivenotes.com, because while some are lame, others are absolutely hilarious and make me laugh until my stomach hurts. The funniest ones are always the ones from kids.

These ones are for my teacher friends. Imagine getting one of these at the end of the school year:

Andrew was a "bad kid" in class

I hope you get thanked for "yelling at them"

Words can't describe how funny I find this

Summer Cine

Sunday morning and afternoon was my "gym time", where I spent hours on the treadmill (walking, not running, no worries) and took part in Zumba class. After all this gym time I was feeling good, and when my Dad suggested dinner and a movie, I was feeling even better!

We originally were going to see Bad Teacher, but after I checked critics ratings and showing times, we changed our minds and went to Midnight in Paris. I absolutely loved the film! I had no preconceived notions of what the movie might have been like, considering I had seen one preview and was completely confused by that; this helped, because I went in expecting nothing and left completely pleased and intellectually stimulated (a little, not a lot, don't get too antsy). The movie ended up being more about a blast to the past, mixing in the nostalgic artists, writers, and icons from the twenties with modern day life. While I don't want to give up too much about the movie, I will tell you that it takes a number of jabs at society and groups of today, particularly the tea party, which provided some of those "funny and true" moments. Whoever wrote this movie obviously studied hard in their Art History and Literature classes, because they had everything pretty historically accurate, while intertwining a lot of comedic relief.

So, with that movie being said, here are the summer movies that I am dying to see. Some are just for fun, and some look super interesting. Let me know if you want to join!
